Scope Items Template (Contracting)
In Ediphi, you possess the powerful capability to craft a Scope Items Template. Within this template, you can seamlessly integrate specific items and associate them with precise Bid Packages in the Contracting section of your project.
By enabling this template within a particular project, the beauty lies in the automatic inclusion of linked items each time relevant Bid Packages are added. This intelligent feature liberates you from the repetitive task of manually inputting these details every single time, streamlining and enhancing your workflow effortlessly.

Creating a Scope Items Template
To create a Scope Items Template, go to the project in question where you would like to apply the template to. Click on the ellipsis to open up the Project Settings, and then click on Manage Scope Items Templates.
A pop-up will appear; click on New Scope Items Template, then give the template a Label (name).
In the Type box you can select you can select which type of item you would like to add to the template (Alternates, Bid Documents, General Requirements, or Scope Section Items). In each Type, you can Add Items manually, or paste them from your clipboard if applicable. Fill in the information for each item, like Label (name), the Bid Package it would apply to, Quantity, Unit of Measurement, Unit Cost, etc. Once you’re done adding the relevant items, click Save, and it will create your template in the platform.
You will then be taken back to the Manage Scope Items Templates pop-up, where you will have the option to select that newly created template to apply it to the current project you're viewing. Once selected, click Save.
Using a Scope Items Template in a Project
To use an already created Scope Items Template in a project, go to the project in question where you would like to apply the template to, then under Settings, click on Manage Scope Items Templates.
A pop-up will appear which will allow you to select a template previously created. Once selected, click Save. The template will then automatically apply to that project.
Edit a Scope Items Template
To edit a Scope Items Template, go to any project and under Settings, click on Manage Scope Items Templates.
Click on the pencil icon next to the template you want to edit. You will have the ability to edit the items within that template as well as the Label (name). Once done editing, click Save.
