Manage Units from Units Database

In Ediphi, Admins can easily manage their company's Units Database, allowing them to update Units and their Unit Spec values directly. The Units Database enables users to quickly add preset Units to new estimates or projects, eliminating the need to create them individually each time. Units are organized by Use Groups, streamlining the setup process for the Unit Mix in an Estimate. How to edit Units in the Units Database

  1. Hover over Admin in the top-right corner of the screen and select Units.
  2. Double-click within any cell to edit the Description, Unit Area, Perimeter, and any other Unit Spec associated with the Unit. Please note that the Units Database does not allow users to edit Line Items within a saved Unit.
  3. Click on the dropdown menu to switch Use Groups and edit the Units within them.

Note: The Use Group dropdown in the Units Database will only display Use Groups that have units associated with them. If a Use Group has no units assigned, it will not be shown, as there is no content to display.

How to delete Units from the Units database

  1. Hover over Admin in the top-right corner of the screen and select Units.
  2. Right-click on the line item you wish to delete.
  3. Select Delete 1 Selected Units.
  4. Click the Confirm button.

Pro Tip: To delete multiple Units at once, select the first Unit, hold down CMD or CTRL on your keyboard, and select the remaining Units you wish to delete. Then, right-click on the screen and select Delete (4) Selected Units.
