Managing Milestones in a Project

In Ediphi, as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the cost story of your projects and estimates, we’ve introduced a new way to create and manage Milestones within your projects. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you through the workflow.

Creating a Milestone

You can create Milestones either when Creating an Estimate, Duplicating an Estimate, or directly through the Manage Milestones workflow. This article focuses on the Manage Milestones method:

1. In your project, click the 3 dots (ellipses) in the top-right corner next to the Create New button, then select Manage Milestones.

2. Click + Add Milestone in the bottom-left corner. A new Milestone row will appear where you can fill out:
   • Design Stage
   • Milestone Name
   • Start Date
   • Description (optional)

3. Once completed, click Save.

Editing a Milestone

1. In your project, click the 3 dots (ellipses) in the top-right corner next to the Create New button, then select Manage Milestones.

2. Within the Milestone list, double-click directly into any of the fields you’d like to update.

3. Once completed, click Save.

Deleting a Milestone

1. In your project, click the 3 dots (ellipses) in the top-right corner next to the Create New button, then select Manage Milestones.

2. Right-click the Milestone you want to delete, then select Delete.

3. A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm by clicking Delete. Keep in mind:
   • Deleting a Milestone removes it from all associated estimates.
   • This action cannot be undone.
