Managing Milestones in a Project
Note: Only Global Admins and Project Owners have the ability to manage Milestones within Ediphi.
In Ediphi, as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the cost story of your projects and estimates, we’ve introduced a new way to create and manage Milestones within your projects. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you through the workflow.
Creating a Milestone
You can create Milestones either when Creating an Estimate, Duplicating an Estimate, or directly through the Manage Milestones workflow. This article focuses on the Manage Milestones method:
- In your project, click the 3 dots (ellipses) in the top-right corner next to the Create New button, then select Manage Milestones.

- Click + Add Milestone in the bottom-left corner. A new Milestone row will appear where you can fill out:
- Design Stage
- Milestone Name
- Start Date
- Description (optional)

- Once completed, click Save.

Editing a Milestone
- In your project, click the 3 dots (ellipses) in the top-right corner next to the Create New button, then select Manage Milestones.

- Within the Milestone list, double-click directly into any of the fields you’d like to update.

- Once completed, click Save.
Deleting a Milestone
- In your project, click the 3 dots (ellipses) in the top-right corner next to the Create New button, then select Manage Milestones.

- Right-click the Milestone you want to delete, then select Delete.

- A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm by clicking Delete. Keep in mind:
- Deleting a Milestone removes it from all associated estimates.
- This action cannot be undone.

Note: The list of available Design Stages in the Manage Milestones modal is managed by your Admin and applies company-wide. If you'd like to request any changes, please reach out to your Admin.
