Activating and Deactivating an Estimate

In Ediphi, users have the ability to set an Estimate as Active to indicate its current use within Contracting. It also allows users to bring information from that Estimate into the Contracting module to use within their Scope Sheets.

In this article:

Activate an Estimate

  1. In the left-side panel, hover over the Estimate you wish to activate, and click the 3 dots (ellipses).
  2. Select Set as active.

Deactivate an Estimate

  1. In the left-side panel, hover over the Estimate you wish to activate, and click the 3 dots (ellipses).
  2. Select Deactivate.

Active Estimates in Contracting

Activating an estimate brings its information into our Contracting module. When you perform a Contracting Export and an Estimate gets marked as "Active", you can head to the Contracting tab, and under Manage Use Groups, you will see a column called "Linked Estimate Use Group". This allows you to link your respective Use Groups in Contracting, with those found within the Active Estimate.

Double-click within a Linked Estimate Use Group cell to make changes, including the option to clear the link from the Estimate.
