Managing Bidders
Note: Only Global Admins have the ability to manage Bidders within Ediphi.
In Ediphi, within the Contracting section of your project, you have the ability to add and remove bidders, along with a few other actions.

Adding a Bidder
- Within the Scope Sheet or the Buy Sheet tabs under Contracting, you will see a section titled Bidders. Click on +Add.

- A pop-up will appear allowing you to select one or multiple bidders from your Vendor Contacts. You can either search the bidders already in the platform, or you can manually add a bidder by clicking on Add Custom Bidder.
Pro Tip: Here you can filter bidders by Open or Union.

- Once you have selected your desired bidders, click Add Selected Vendors.

Duplicating a Bidder
- Within the Scope Sheet or the Buy Sheet tabs under Contracting, you will see a section titled Bidders. Here, you will see all the bidders currently added to your sheet. Click on the menu button located next to the bidder you would like to duplicate.

- Click on Duplicate. The platform will automatically add a duplicate of this bidder to your sheet.

Editing a Bidder
- Within the Scope Sheet or the Buy Sheet tabs under Contracting, you will see a section titled Bidders. Here, you will see all the bidders currently added to your sheet. Click on the menu button located next to the bidder you would like to edit.

- Click on Modify.

- Edit the bidder information, and once done click on Save.

Deleting a Bidder
- Within the Scope Sheet or the Buy Sheet tabs under Contracting, you will see a section titled Bidders. Here, you will see all the bidders currently added to your sheet. Click on the menu button located next to the bidder you would like to remove.

- Click on Modify.

- You will see the option to “Delete Bidder”. Click on it.

- The platform will ask you to confirm that you want to remove this bidder. Click on Confirm.

Note: This delete action cannot be undone.
Carrying a Bidder

Within the Scope Sheet or the Buy Sheet tabs under Contracting, you will see a section titled Bidders. Here, you will see all the bidders currently added to your sheet. To carry a bidder, select the checkbox icon (the circle) on a bidder. This action will will automatically move them to the front of the Bidders section, regardless of the order they were initially set.

The carried bidder and their grand total will show on the top left above the Sheet Legend.

You can award the carried bidder on either the Scope or Buy Sheet tab. See our Bid Leveling article to learn more about awarding.

- The carried bidder will then push into the Schedule of Values tab for further evaluation of pricing and position of the bidder.
Note: You have the ability to carry bidders in both the Schedule of Values in the Subcontractor Pricing section and the Scope/Buy Sheets. See our Updated Schedule of Values article to learn more.
Reordering Bidders
Admins have the ability to reorder the bidders located within the Scope Sheets or Buy Sheets of the Contracting module, so that you can easily keep track of the important bidders on your end. Additionally, the order of bidders will retroactively update the order in the Schedule of Values Subcontractor Pricing section.
- Within the Contracting tab of your project, go into into the Bid Group where the bidders you want to reorder are located.
- Within the Scope Sheet or the Buy Sheet, you will see the added bidders listed horizontally under the Bidders section.
- Click on any Bidder's name, and drag & drop them in any order you'd prefer:

Pro Tip: Selecting the checkbox icon (the circle) on a bidder will automatically move them to the front of the Bidders section, regardless of the order they were initially set.
