GCs & GRs under Contracting

In Ediphi, there are two methods available for linking your Estimates and GCs & GRs to enhance project management. Each method provides different data depending on the type of linkage; the following is a brief explanation of each:

• Within a GC & GR, you have the option to link it to an Estimate within your project which allows you to include estimate values in the GC & GR formulas.
• Within an Estimate, you have the option to link it to a GR & GR within your project, which gives you the option to link GC & GR line items as markups and/or into bid packages. This option also allows you to view the total GCs & GRs that you have allocated in your estimate markup.

If you desire to have GCs & GRs displayed as Markups in the Schedule of Values of the Contracting section of a project and included in your Estimate, you must perform the latter.

Here's a guide on how to accomplish this:

1. Link the Estimate to a GCs & GRs within your project.
2. Within your project, click on the ellipsis next to the estimate in question and then click Set as Active.

3. The GCs & GRs should then show up as Markups within the Contracting SOV.
