Scope of Work in Scope Sheets (Contracting)
In Ediphi, you have the ability to add line items to your Scope of Work section in Scope Sheets. With this information added, you can then compare bidders to like-kind scope of work and costs per line item. You also have the option to add holds & allowances to these items, which can be tracked throughout the Contracting module.

Pro Tip: Like in other sections within the Scope Sheet, you can allocate these line items to Use Groups via the blue icon on each line item. See our Use Group Allocation article for more information.
Using Holds & Allowances
Within Ediphi, you have the ability to label Scope of Work line items as Holds or Allowances. This is then tracked on Buy Sheets and the Schedule of Values in the Contracting module.
- To add Holds or Allowances, scroll down to your Scope of Work line items and click into the far right cell of this section to choose either HOLD or ALLOWANCE.
- Hold: GC liability/GC risk.
Allowance: Owner liability/Owner risk.
- Holds & Allowances will flow into the Buy Sheet and therefore the Schedule of Values under the Holds & Allowances tab.
- For Scope of Work line items, you have the option of adding "No With" plugs which allow you to push a line item to another Bid Package. See our Bid Leveling article for more information.
Pro Tip: On your Scope of Work line items, you have the ability to add notes. To do so, right-click a line item, select Edit note, give it a color, add text, and click Save. To delete a note, simply remove the text in the edit window, and click Save.
