Assigning UPC Products to GCs & GRs Types/Groups (UPC)

In Ediphi, Admins can assign GCGR Types and GCGR Groups to UPC products for use within the GCs & GRs module. For example, if certain items fall under the Computer Equipment group, you would categorize them as GC (General Conditions). This article provides a step-by-step guide to completing this process.

1. Click on the UPC button located on the top right of your screen. (See our Creating a Product in the UPC article to learn how to add a product to the UPC).
2. After creating or importing your products, you will want to navigate to the columns: GCGR Type and GCGR Group.
   1. Under GCGR Type, select GC or GR. Leaving this selection “Clear” will not assign them under GCs & GRs.
   2. Under GCGR Group, select a group from the dropdown. This selection is not required for items to show under GCs & GRs, only GCGR Type is required.

After assigning your products to GCGR Types and GCGR Groups, you can now go into the GCs & GRs module within Ediphi.

1. On the left hand side, select GCs Detail or GRs Detail depending on which type you are working with.

2. Hover over Add Line Items and select Add from UPC.

   

3. A pop-up will appear showing all available products that have an assigned GCGR Type and GCGR Group from the UPC.

4. Check the boxes of the items you wish to add to your GCs or GRs Detail Line Items.
5. Click on Add Selected Products.
6. If there are no other line items you wish to add, select Review Products.
7. The next page will show all selected items to be added.
8. Click on Add Line Items.
9. All added line items will now show under their respective Detail tab.
