Managing Sort Fields for Your Company

Note: Only Global Admins have the ability to manage Sort Fields for their company within Ediphi.

In construction, certain project owners have specific ways they prefer to view estimate data, while General Contractors often have their own classification methods. Sort Fields provide a flexible solution that accommodates both, ensuring consistency and ease of organization across different requirements. Sort Fields can also be used as WBS (work breakdown structure) codes to help users communicate with Owners.

Within Ediphi, Admins can use these Sort Fields to organize estimate line items with greater precision. They can be set at the company level, allowing users to seamlessly apply them to new or existing projects without the need for manual entry or activation each time. During the Grouping process in an estimate, selecting the appropriate Sort Fields helps users structure line items to align with their specific task.
