In this article

My Projects

Within My Projects, there are many great additional features that may not be easily discoverable without direction. Here are a few:

List View

This is an enhanced version of of the project list view users know and love. Simple, and straight to the point.

Grid View

Allows a user to interact with a card view of projects with map context populated. More of a visual enhancement from the standard List View.

Map View

A user can zoom into a region or part of the country to contextually view projects, allowing a user to compare and view key stats on nearby projects.

Note: Each of these views shows projects bucketed into most Recently Viewed, Favorites, and then the main list of projects below it.

      • Recently Viewed: This will appear as a top section within My Projects, showing a maximum of 4 projects (depending on screen size).
      • Favorites: This will appear as the second section of your My Projects view, and will showcase those projects you have selected with a star on your end.

Location

Users have the ability to add an address to projects in the List or Grid View. After doing so, the project's location will be shown in the Grid & Map Views.

    • Color Coding:
      • Color Coding allows you to categorize your projects visually by color, so you can easily differentiate them. Perhaps you are trying to color code those projects within the same geographical location, or you want to color code each project based on its creator. This feature will allow you to do so.
    • Archiving and Deleting:
      • As an admin or a project owner, you have the ability to archive or delete projects to clean up the project list view.
      • In the Admin dropdown, you have the ability to view all your archived projects in a list and will be able to un-archive projects.

Note: See our Managing a Project and Archiving a Project articles to learn more.

With the Project Navigation panel, you can see all of your areas of work within your project with better accuracy and organization when jumping from one section to another (depending on your permissions).

  • Number of Estimates, GCGRs, and Schedules: This number count will appear at the header of each section.

  • Add Button: Within each section, there is an “+” Add button to create a new Estimate, GCGR and Schedule.

  • "More" Menu (ellipses): Next to each estimate, schedule, or GCGR, there is a "more" menu which allows you to take actions on the associated item.

  • Sorting of Estimates, GCGRs and Schedules: All items are sorted by date modified, meaning, the last modified item will be moved to the top of the list.
  • Name on Hover: Names of long Estimates, GCGRs and Schedules will show up when you hover over the associated line item

Expanding the Sidebar

    • You are be able to expand the side bar to show the full text length.
    • This expansion will allow you to pull it to 35% of the width of the screen.
    • This will stay when you navigate away from the page and come back as your default user setting.

Note: In order to use the expansion feature, you just first open the navigation bar by clicking on the blue arrow button of the navigation bar:

Project Overview

Project Overview will be your project dashboard with high level information for quick and easy insights.

  • Project Name, Creator, and Address: The project name, project creator and the address (map view) will be shown at the top of the Project Overview page.
  • Last Updated Estimate:
    • At the bottom of the page will be your information from the last update estimate, such as, Grand Total, Gross Area, Estimate Details, etc.
    • Click on the Estimate Link for a quick way to access your last updated estimate.

  • Create New Button: At the top right is a blue Create New button. This is a quick-create path for Estimates, GCGRs, and Scheduling.

  • "More" Menu (ellipses): The "More" Menu will have the same functionality as the My Projects "More" Menu.
